Can I accelerate two seperate drives with two seperate Intel Optane Memory accelerators?

I have an MSI MEG z390 Godlike MB

Intel Core I9-9900K

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16

Samsung SATA SSD 500GB <- would like to accelerate with IOM 16GB

Seagate 7200RPM 2TB HDD <- accelerated with IOM PCIe NVMe 32GB

No. You can only have one Optane Memory module accelerating one SATA drive.

 

I recommend you obtain a M.2 NVMe SSD to use as your system drive in place of that SATA SSD. A good one won't require any acceleration assistance. Then you can use your (one) Optane module to accelerate the performance of your (one) secondary/data HDD.
