MOBO: ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4S-IB
My Ultra M.2 slot is Intel Optane ™️ ready, but I wanted to know if this applies to the motherboard as a whole. If so, can a PCIe NVMe adapter be uusedfod my Optane drive or will I need to move my current PCIe NVMe SSD to an adapter to utilize Optane memory?

Provided your motherboard's BIOS can support NVMe redirection from that PCIe slot, you should be ok. It is better, however, to have the Optane memory module in the designated slot.
