MSI Z370 Octane compliant Motherboard. I want to replace my Intel SSD that has WIN 10 64 OS on it. Can I use the current image of this drive to swap to the Octane memory? Any special procedure out of the norm to do this?

- You should first disable Optane memory before taking backup of your disk.
- After replacing the SSDs, restore backup image to the new SSD and enable Optane Memory again.
- There is Intel Data Migration Software for cloning data from old drive to Intel SSD: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27960/Intel-Data-Migration-Software?v=t

I plan on backing up C: GPT UEFI with Acronis and Macrium. Shutdown and install card. Boot with recovery software and recover to Octane drive. Boot to BIOS and turn on Octane. Boot normanl start up.
Or would I need to turn on Octane in BIOS before recovery?
