PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller for HP EliteBook 820 G3 showing not Installed

Hi ,

In my  HP EliteBook 820 G3 I can see in device manager 

PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller 

PCI Memory Controller 

Uninstalled with Arrow mark and updating driver is not helping.

Can any one help ?

I believe you need to install the Chipset Device Software (a.k.a. INF Update) package to resolve these devices. You should be able to find this package on the HP site pages for your system.

As pertaining to the issue you are having, we would recommend performing the steps below.


Install the latest Intel® Server Chipset driver for your platform:


  1. Download the contents into a folder (unzipped).
  2. Execute the Setup.exe file.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Restart the server after completion.
  5. Please also update the BIOS to the latest if haven't

This is a gentle follow up on this thread, we would appreciate if you have contacted the system manufacturer, in your case HP to get the BIOS updated.


Besides that, please also do let us know whether the chipset driver have been updated.
