Bought my Hp 11th Gen Intel Core 13 new about a year and a half ago. I loaned my laptop out, not sure if the situation is related, but the person does know how to work on them. I recently have a popup stating disk at risk (SMART event) and to open my intel octane storage and memory app or something similar. I went on the intel support for memory and storage to find out how to check the issue out. I was led to an article which told me to first check to be sure i have the intel octane driver installed on my laptop and gave instructions where I would find out what drives are installed. I found that a drive called NVMe SAMSUNG MZVBQ356HBJD-00BH1 is the only drive listed. I did purchase the laptop from my university bookstore, I do not know if that could have any part in this or not either. Can someone tell me if this is normal and what does the disk at risk popup mean? Is there a way to fix the issue? Thank you in advance for any answers or solutions you can provide. I am very inexperienced with these types of issues to say the very least.

If I were getting a SMART notification, I would pay attention to it.
I would make sure my data is backed-up and look at replacing the drive asap.
