i have just bought intel optane memory 16GB for my ASUS X510UN-EJ327T and the following error is being displayed "no compatible disks for intel optane memory"

Thank you for posting in the Intel® communities.

 

Since you are using a laptop, I highly recommend you to contact the laptop manufacturer to get assistance on how to configure the module. Laptop systems are not the same as Desktop computers, they usually include special features at BIOS or OS level that we are not aware of, so before doing any system change, it’s better to contact the manufacturer.

 

According to your description, it may be possible that there is still something at BIOS level to being configured, but you should first confirm with ASUS* if this laptop model supports the module. If it does, then they may help you with the configuration and setup process.

sorry , your laptop model does not support optane memory firmware, because no compatible bios.

Eventhough optane memory fits into M.2 slot ,
