Hi Fab-4416000,
Greetings for the day!
Hope you are doing well. In a RAID 1 setup, which mirrors data across two drives for redundancy, using an Intel Optane module (typically used for accelerating storage) in an M.2 slot will not accelerate the RAID 1 array.
Optane modules are designed to cache or accelerate single drives or non-RAID configurations. Since RAID 1's mirroring nature means that both drives contain the same data, acceleration features provided by Optane are not applied to the entire RAID 1 array as a whole.
If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to ask.
Best Regards,
Azeem_Intel

32GB size would imply that we are talking about an Optane Module, not an Optane SSD. In this case, the answer would be No; Optane Modules are only used to accelerate performance of SATA HDD/SSD. Or are you talking about an Optane SSD that happens to have 32GB of Optane Memory on it? In that case, the answer is still No; you cannot form RAID1 array using a NVMe SSD and a SATA HDD/SSD (a RAID array can only have devices of a single type (NVMe or SATA)).
Hope this helps,

Bonjour, le descriptif exact est:
Intel Optane Memory M2 80mm, PCIe* 3.0 x2 (capacity 32Go)
Si je comprend bien, je ne peux pas accélérer un RAID 1 SATA avec un module Optane en M2, c'est bien cela?

No, that's not correct (though I realize that you could have assumed that from my (obviously poorly written) previous response). The Optane modules are a special case. The modules, running as NVMe devices, are being used to accelerate a (single) SATA HDD/SSD.
