Optane SSD DC P4800X results in PCIe x2 connection

I am using an optane ssd dc p4800x 1.5TB, but it only uses two PCIe lanes, so it is only half the speed of the specifications. The CPU is a Ryzen TR3960x, and I am using it by converting the PCIe x16 slot directly connected to the CPU to U.2. I have replaced the conversion adapter with a new one several times, but there is no change. Also, other p4800xes are connected to 4 lanes with the same conversion adapter and are performing as specified. What do you think is the cause?
