When I open chip planner, Quartus Prime Pro crashes. The error report that was generated is attached.

Quartus should not crashed. If crashed, try to use the latest Quartus version (current 22.2) to see if the same issue occurs.

If so, please help to share your .qar design as we need to duplicate the error to debug this.

Best Regards,

Richard Tan

Hi @RichardTanSY_Intel ,

Thank you for your response. We did give Quartus Prime Pro 22.2 a try but it still crashes when we open Chip Planner and I should let you know this is specific to one project of ours only. I would like to share the .qar file, can you please share with me channel through which we can do so? also can you let us know which options you require for the .qar file, Is file set option “Service request”  suitable?

Kind Regards,

Joel

We can transfer file through FTP platform. I will send you an email with the instructions.

You can achieve the project with the Service Requests.

Please expect that any work involving engineering will take some-time (a few days to a few weeks) depending on the complexity of the issue.

I will update here if there is any update.

If you removed these 2 parts from DEVICE_MIGRATION_LIST (top_s2lb_misc.tcl), the error will disappear and Chip Planner can be opened successfully.
