Clock to 1Ghz with Altera PLL ?

Hello,  

 I have a DE0-Nano-SoC with Cyclone V 5CSEMA4U23C6N and a external-clock to 50Mhz. I would like a clock to 1Ghz with Altera PLL, is it possible ?  Today, I have a clock to 800Mhz with PLL Altera but I can't exceed 800Mhz !  Thank you very much.  PS : Sorry for my English, I am French.

Hi, 

 General PLL does not support 1GHz. For transceiver PLL ie F-PLL, CMU-PLL & ATX-PLL which supports higher frequency in most of the latest device family. For more information you can refer the data sheet of the device.  Let me know if you need any further assistance.  Best Regards, Anand Raj Shankar (This message was posted on behalf of Intel Corporation)

 I watched this datasheet (https://www.altera.com/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/stratix-10/s10_datasheet.pdf) of Stratix 10. In table 51, the stratix 10 can have a clock to 1Ghz, it's exact ?  Thank.

Besides listing maximum PLL frequencies of different FPGA families, what do you want to clock with 1 GHz?
