HAHA Board - Auto Detection

Hello everyone,

I am currently working with the new HAHA board which has an FPGA (ALTERA Max 10 10M50SAE144C8G) and a micro controller (Atmel MEGA16U4). The user manual (which I have attached) says you should be able to auto detect the FPGA and the micro controller but when I do this the program detects three devices (also attached). Does anyone know how to fix this or why this is happening??

Thank you,

Gabby

Hi

Welcome to INTEL forum. FYI, this FPGA forum community is meant to support dev kit developed by Intel FPGA only.

Reason is each dev kit has its own control/access mechanism and it’s best to refer back to dev kit user manual doc to understand the dev kit usage or user can also consult back the dev kit vendor on dev kit related enquiry.

Please accept my apologies for not being able to assist you fully as this is out of my expertise.

Thanks.

Did you try clicking Auto Detect to detect the devices on the JTAG chain?

Yes, I did. When I do this three devices are recognized but it should only be detecting two devices (the FPGA and the micro controller).

We apologize for the inconvenience happen. Our suggestion is that, you could consult back the error to the dev kit vendor for further consultation.

We have not heard from you and I hope that my last note clears up this matter. I will now transition this thread to community support. If you have a new question, feel free to open a new thread to get the support from Intel experts. Otherwise, the community users will continue to help you on this thread. Thank you.
