Hello World!

Hi all! 

 

I am new to FPGAs and to the forum. Hope to learn a lot from the gurus on this forum.  

 

I also have a very basic question on Quartus: when I declare my entities in VHDL and then I compile the project with some boards when I switch to the pin planner I find the list of my entities while with other I find a huge list of pin but nothing about the one I declared. Why this happens?

Solved. Quartus puts as a top level entity a file depending on the board selected, thus, overwriting my entities declaration :)
