programmer software looking in the wrong place for system libraries, e.g:- PATH to libudev.so should be /usr/lib64/libudev.so

What version of SUSE are you using ? Please note Quartus is supported for SUSE SLE 12. Can you make sure all the environment variables are set as described in installation guide ? https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/manual/quartus_install.pdf Page 14. Thanks, I am using openSUSE Tumbleweed. I tried server slipstream then localhost.

Ok I am not familiar what is Tumbleweed. As mentioned Quartus is supported and tested for SUSE SLE 12. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/support/support-resources/download/os-support.h...
