I installed Quartus and ModelSim 21.1 version. But I can't run the Questa, because of this
thiago@thiago-300E5K-300E5Q:~/intelFPGA_lite/21.1/questa_fse/bin$ ./vsim
Unable to find the license file. It appears that your license file environment variable (e.g., LM_LICENSE_FILE) is not set correctly.
Unable to checkout a license. Vsim is closing.
** Error: Invalid license environment. Application closing.
What do I need to do to complete the installation? I am using the Free version.
The operational system is Ubuntu 20.4

Hello
Welcome to Intel forum. Have you request a Questa free license? if not, could you help to request Questa starter license. Questa starter edition require a license and available in Self Service Licensing Center(SSLC).
You may request the Questa Sim Starter Edition free license here https://licensing.intel.com/
1) Go to Sign up for Evaluation or Free licenses
2) Select Questa*-Intel® FPGA Starter Edition SW-QUESTA
3) # of Seats is always 1
4) Check the T&C box
5) Click Get License button
The license will be sent to email that you register with
2) And could you help re-confirm your environment variable setup again? You need to set your LM_LICENSE_FILE environment variable to point to the license that Intel provides. c:\intel\license.dat or something similar.
You can refer to link on how to set environment variable.
To make this entry, you may perform a windows Search for "System Variables" and then click on "Edit the System Environment Variables" and then click "Environment Variables". Be aware that you must add the entry in System variables, not user variables.
