Hello, I am trying to get Quartus Prime Lite 23.1 installed for a graduate course. I'm trying to install on 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Max inside an Ubuntu 22.04 ARM64 virtual machine through Parallels 19.
I've tried both the Installer and Multiple Download from https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/software-kit/795187/intel-quartus-prime-lite-edition-design-software-version-23-1-for-linux.html
I extract the files and when I try to install via terminal I receive the following notification:
The Intel software you are installing is 64-bit software and will not work on the 32-bit platform on which it is being installed.
Do you want to continue to install the software? (y/n):
This is a 64-bit platform, and when I try to continue the install I get the following:
/setup.sh: line 84: /home/parallels/Downloads/temp/components/QuartusLiteSetup-23.1std.0.991-linux.run: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error
./setup.sh: line 84: /home/parallels/Downloads/temp/components/QuartusLiteSetup-23.1std.0.991-linux.run: Success
I'm new to trying to use Quartus, so I apologize if I am missing something simple.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

What you are trying to do IS a graduate level project in itself.
I would suggest finding an Intel based Windows 10 PC or Linux box to run Quartus on.
It will make your life much easier.
