Issues to simulate with HPS

Hi,

I have an issue when I try to simulate a project with HPS generated on Platform Designer (ex Qsys). When I do a simple generate HDL (just for synthesis), everything is fine and I try a simulation with Questasim (Tools->Run Simulation Tool->RTL Simulation). After Questa is running, all files are compiled and when "vsim" begun, I have errors related to cyclone V HPS modules not defined (see picture). I see no libraries for HPS or modules anywhere on intel directory.

To solve this issue, I try to generate also simulation model on Plateform Designer to help, but i have many issues with that (see file). I don't understand why.

My configuration:

- Windows 10

- Quartus Prime Lite Edition 22.1.1

- Questa Intel starter FPGA 2021.2 (with free license)

If anybody could help me with that, I'll be grateful.

Apologies for delay reply.

The HPS simulation support does not include modules implemented in the HPS, such as the Arm cortex A9 MPCore processor and HPS side peripheral's. Thats the reason you are not able to see the libraries for HPS or modules.

Hi,

I don't use ARM Cortex and all modules I use on my system are supported according to the link your send me.

Some errors I send you seems to be refering to SDRAM but SDRAM should be normally supported, so I don't understand.

May it be something else ?
