Jtag server problem

I have installed quartus 23.2 to my home folder on archlinux machine, set all paths, installed arrow blaster drivers and locally jtag is running properly.

But if I try to establish jtag server for remote connection, I am getting this Error:

$ jtagconfig --enableremote ahoj
Error when setting password - Feature not implemented or unavailable under current execution privilege level

I tried also to run this command as root, but no luck (same error)...

If i run quartus software (as normal user), Tools/Programmer/JTAG settings - "Configure Local JTAG Server" button is greyed out.

Can you help me please to overcome this problem?

Hi,
as explained in Quartus Programmer user guide, remote access to Linux jtagserver depends on jtagd. If it's running, jtagconfig --enableremote is accepted.
