Problem with the programmer for a VHDL code

Hello to all.

I made a code to make a RS232 connection between my PC and my Stratix II. Now I'd like to implement it on the card to test it. I'm a begginer in VHDL and in Quartus, and in electronics in general.

So I compile my code, there is no error, then I run the programmer, the card is marked with the USB Blaster. But there is no file. When I try to find my code via the browser, I realize that the extension is not the same. The program needs a file type. Sof,. Pof,. Jam,. Jbc,. Ekp or. Jic

And unfortunately I do not seem to find it in my project.

Can you help me explaining me how to get this type of file from my VHDL code?

Thank you in advance!

Did you run all the way through a compile and run the assembler?

Ok, nevermind, I just found the error, I'm running quartus in Evaluation mode, that's why I can't generate programming files.

Thank you for your time
