Guys,

I'm approachinng to Qsys and I take a project from David H. and I added the UART AVALON SLAVE.

I would use the "jtag_master" to test the "uart_0".

My first goal is able to send to terminal some characters thru System Console inside Qsys.

I open the UART AVALON Datasheet and look at the register Mapping:

and I add this code inside tcl script:

But I have no success to send some byte to my serial port.

I think it could be a good "debug" system and for newbee like me very usefull to start.
