Quartus 23.1 Standard is not opening on RHEL 9

Hello,

We have an issues with Quartus, I tried to find an existing post with my issue but I was not able to find an answer in the Forum, I also tried to open a support case with Intel but they redirected me to the Forum so here I am

We are installing a new server (RHEL 9.4) and we didn't had any issues with any pro version (for example 24.1 pro is working as expected) but when we use module switch to change the version and try to start 23.1 std, the application is started but no GUI appears.

You will have in attachment a screenshot where you can see the application is launched and we have a process but no GUI is started.

We can use the module switch to change to another pro version and we don't have any issue.

We tried reinstalling the problematic Quartus version without any effect

We are not sure where and how to debug the issue, don't hesitate if you have some ideas on how to troubleshoot this.
Thank you in advance,

Antoine

Hi,

Please refer the below link for the OS support added for Quartus on RHEL.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/programmable/683593/23-1std/operating-system-support.html

It seems RHEL 9.4 support is not mentioned in the above link. It is recommended to use the supported OS version as per the Quartus release notes.

Also, have you tried using the command "quartus &" in linux.
