Hello,
I have some problems with different versions of Quartus II: with the SAME SOURCE CODE, I saw different behaviour of my designs when I compile the projects with Quartus II v.7.0 instead QUARTUS II v.6.1. Also I saw that codes without any problems in the v6.1, doesn't run with the v.7.1. Do you know a way to find what's the matter? What can I try to resolve it? Anybody have some similar problems? Thanks. Brandon P.S. Excuse me for my EnglishLink Copied

Brandon,
What is your native language? If it is Portuguese you can speak to me in Portuguese. About your problem I need to know more about your project. Did you test it correctly? If you don't the problem can be in your project but was not happening in the last version. Other source for error could be optimizations that you set to your project.- Mark as New

It *may* be because Quartus II may be handling certain warnings as errors in the newer version to be better complient to standards. Looking at the actual error message and/or the code segment causing this behavior would help.

If you can post the code and/or the error message you get with Quartus II 7.0, someone in the user community can help with addressing the problem. Otherwise you can send the issue to http:\\mysupport.atlera.com.
For differences between Quartus II 6.1 and 7.0, you can look at the Release Notes for both versions on the Altera website.
