Quartus Prime 18.1 LMTools Floating License Server ~ General Questions!

Hello all :^)

I have a VPN connection which creates a local bridge for my computers to my local network.

It seems all computers within the Country (Australia) can connect and compile.

My friend from the US connects to the VPN and is served with an IP etc etc but cannot be served a floating license...

Is the lmTools License server region locked?

What is the trip time (ms) that Quartus waits for a license to be serviced?

My friend in the US has a daisy chain of repeaters in his house; will this affect adversely the connectivity to the local site server software?

YES! So far the global variable has been the ticket - intermittent issues also resolved
