We had critical crashes after only 5min using 22.4. Parallel synthesis is broken.
Quartus lacks regressions tests, so advising to use a more recent version isn't appropriate to solve any issues unless listed in the release notes as solved.
An IPS case has been opened for it.

Try to upgrade the design to the latest Quartus version 22.4 to check if the issue persists.
Could you help to share your design .qar file (Project > Achieve Project, to generate .qar file) that could duplicate this error?
We will need to duplicate the error as without the error duplication from our side, it would be hard to find a workaround/solution.
Do let me know if the design can't be shared publicly, I will send you an email on transfer the file securely.
Best Regards,
Richard Tan

Understandable, since an IPS case has been created, I will now transition this thread to community support.
