I'm trying to compile my FPGA design for an Arria 10 device in 'Quartus Prime 16.0.2 build 222 Standard Edition' but the process has stuck in "starting register packing" it won't go further. My PC has Intel Core i7 (3.6GHz) processor & 32 GB RAM. Before upgrading to '16.0.2 build 222' compilation works & completed. Does anyone know why is this happening?
Kindly help!Link Copied

How large is your design and how long have you waited before thinking it's stuck?

Thank you for your reply!
I have given sample projects with the board even those can't compile. I have waited about 24 hours & still compilation process in "register packing" step.- Mark as New

Bad installation of Quartus, perhaps? Try reinstalling.

sstrell Thank you for your reply,
I followed your instructions & reinstalled Quartus. No error or warning showed during the installing. But still, the problem remains the same.
