We were informed that the renewal license for SW-QUARTUS-SE-FIX has been discontinued. We were endorsed with a new license SW-ONE-QUARTUS. Is it really discontinued? Will there be issues if we use SW-ONE-QUARTUS? Will there be compatibility issues across development sites who still uses SWR-QUARTUS-SE-FIX while using SW-ONE-QUARTUS at the same time? I also noticed that price difference is a lot.

Hi Sir
Welcome to INTEL forum. Yes, your understanding is correct. SW-QUARTUS-SE-FIX has been discontinued and replace by SW-ONE-QUARTUS. It’s a single ordering part number. The single OPN will have only one new price for all license type. Refer here https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/pcn/adv2127.pdf
No issue to use SW-ONE-QUARTUS with who still uses SWR-QUARTUS-SE-FIX. Basically it is the same license that come with one bundle. Note that all 3 software tools (Intel Quartus Prime Standard, Pro and Questa-Intel FPGA Edition (paid)) are included in the purchase. Customers can choose Float or Fixed in the Self-Service Licensing Center. Questa licenses (like ModelSim-Intel FPGA Edition) can also be used for float or fixed.
