The Quartus Prime software quit unexpectedly.

Hi!

I'm using Quartus Prime Pro 23.4.

When I open signal tap, Quartus always quit unexpectedly.

I have to delete the .stp file to open signaltap every time, which is so suffering.

Below is the problem report.

How can I fix this? Really need your help, please!

Have you changed the trigger condition in the signaltap?

Or the Quartus exits upon you open signaltap without any operation?

I see, as this internal error is not exist in the database, could you please help upload the project for issue duplication?

BTW, you can download the standalone Programmer and Tools for using SignalTap only.

Sorry, I can't upload my project for some reasons.

But I'm sure this is not related to a specific project because I encounter the same problem when adding signaltap to Quartus's example design.

Is there any other solution? Thank you!

BTW, how to use signaltap in the programmer? I can't find any entry point or how to use it.

You can try this link:

And you can install​ 'Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Programmer and Tools' under 'Add-On and Stand-Alone Software' which contains SignalTap and Programmer.

BTW, you can use other versions of Stand-Alione SignalTap different with the Quautus version you are using, which may not have this issue.
