Unable to checkout Questa License

Hello,

I am trying to get Questa 22.1 to run on my Ubuntu Jammy installation. I have gone through the self-licensing procedure and have a license file. However, when I try to run the vsim command, I get the following error:

vsim --version
Unable to checkout a license. Make sure your license file environment variable (e.g., LM_LICENSE_FILE)
is set correctly and then run 'lmutil lmdiag' to diagnose the problem.
Unable to checkout a license.  Vsim is closing.
** Error: Invalid license environment. Application closing.

I double checked that my LM_LICENSE_FILE variable was correctly set and ran the lmutil lmdiag command as it suggested and got the following message, which seems to indicate everything worked fine.

Welcome to INTEL forum. Based on the documentation available on Intel's OS support page, it appears that the Questa edition does not officially support the Ubuntu version. When an operating system is classified as unsupported, it means that while some functionalities may function properly, others may not.

It is crucial to acknowledge that no resources will be dedicated to debugging or addressing issues specific to the unsupported platform. Therefore, it is highly advised to use the officially supported operating system for optimal compatibility with the Questa tool.

Hi. I have a problem with the license that involves something from Vsim, I wanted to install the drivers to use Quartus with USB Blaster and when installing the license, now I get an error when I want to simulate Questa, can anyone help me with this?
