Want to make sure of my PCIe connections in Qsys.

I am using a PCIe IP in Qsys (Intel® Arria® 10 and Intel® Cyclone® 10 GX Hard IP for PCI Express), and I want to make sure of two things:

1- I want to make sure that my PCIe connections are correct and that I'm not missing anything.

2- I want to make sure that the host will see my PCIe address as "0x0000_0000_8f80_0000". Am I doing it right?

Hi Yousef.

Can you try to generate an example design from IP catalog and use that as a reference ?

I want to make sure that my PCIe connections are correct and that I'm not missing anything.

>> from what i see it shall be no problem

I want to make sure that the host will see my PCIe address as "0x0000_0000_8f80_0000". Am I doing it right?

>> it depends on your project requirements. there is no exact right or wrong on this.

>>In Qsys, you typically configure the base address in the PCIe IP core settings. The PCIe base address is a 64-bit value that the host system will use to access the FPGA's PCIe address space. You will need to set this base address to "0x0000_0000_8f80_0000" if that's the address you want the host system to see.
