Hi, Im working with different schematics, and im wondering to know , if its possible to join them as, for instance, you can do it con cad soft like Altium, where you use different sheet and work with hierarchical block in the same project.

a solution would be, embbed many blocks and generate a bigger block with them iners?

thanks

Hi,

Are you talking about Block Diagram/Schematic file in quartus?

In quartus we can design multiple module using hdl/ip and generate the symbol file(which gives hierarchical of each module) and integrate it in top.

Generate the symbol file for top file to have hierarchical view.

Why can you use rtl view for hierarchical view.

Let me know if this has helped resolve the issue you are facing or if you need any further assistance.

Yes, im working with Block Diagram/Schematic. You say that generate a Top Module that includes many others smalls modules in it?. And after that , open another schematic and start including all different modules to be connected?

What i was trying to do , is , to have different schematic with a lot of modules, and interconnect different schematic by some port... is like some CAD software do for instance Altium, yo can use different schematic, and interconnect them, instead of having a big sheet schematic with several different modules.

Thank you so much.

Yes.

You may not get same operations like other tools.
