can I use Quartus on my Mac book pro I need it for class

Quartus tools are not available for MacOS native environment. Your best bet is to install VirtualBox (free) as an application on your Mac OS laptop, and then install an appropriate version of Linux (or possibly even Win 10 if you want) in VirtualBox. Then download Quartus into that VirtualBox environment.

In addition, select appropriate operating system as per your requirement from link below & installed it into VirtualBox environment.
