hi, everyone:
i use max10, when i download pof file, it cost minutes to finish. how can i make it faster? (in spartan6 the mcs file download only cost seconds ) i may have to product thousands products per month, i can not bear 5 minutes for each downloading. by the way: can usb_blaster read back the pof file? how can i protect my design? thanks!Link Copied

I assume in production you're programming the Max 10 flash, which takes longer than actually configuring the SRAM bits. For Spartan6 production, are you actually configuring the FPGA, which would be lost on powerdown, or programming a flash which then configures the Spartan, and is that done in seconds?
(I don't know Spartan6 very well, and didn't think it had any nonvolatile memory, but please correct me if I'm wrong.)- Mark as New
