Hi everybody,

i am trying to build a energy management module using the altera xilinx DE0 board. Let me briefly explain what it is like. It has two power sources(solar and wind) along with the grid as an unlimited source. There is a storage(battery) and then the consumer. The consumers power requirement should always be met by the wind and solar sources. If the consumers need is not completed by wind and solar then the grid shoiuld provide the required power. when the grid is supplying the power, solar and wind should charge the battery. Also the power generated by the wind and solarshould be displayed on the computer screen.

I would like to hear your ideas about how to develop such a module. Please post your comments or any otherinformation required.
