how I can specify (in RTL) the "Index" of FPGA block memories

Hi All,

Is there a way to specify (in RTL) the "Index" of FPGA block memories?

By "Index", I mean the number listed under the "Index" column in In-System Memory Content Editor window.

I want to do this, because I sometimes see that the index in my design can change from one build to another, and I don't like this. I want to manually specify, so that I get fixed index numbers that I want.

I know that I can specify the index when I instantiate in-system source & probe registers, but cannot find a way to do this for block memories.

Thanks.
