In the document "The Nios II Embedded “Hello World” Lab: For the CV-GX Development Kit" they refer to the link "http://www.alterawiki.com/wiki/File:Qsys_workshop_files.zip" the link is not working anymore. Does someone know how to get te file "CV_GX_qsys_workshop" included in the unzipped folder “Qsys_workshop_files.zip” ? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi,

As per the download link in that documentation, it was successfully redirected us to Intel Community Wiki Sections. However, the required sample reference design was not posted yet at new Intel FPGA Wiki Platforms.

We are on the process of uploading sample design to this new wiki site and fixing the documentation errors. It required 1-2 months time to get this reference design upload because some internal code review activity & approval process.

Once we hear back from Intel Internal team about this sample design availability, we will let you know.

Thanks,

Joseph

Hi,

We got a good news for you. The download link issue fixed now as our internal team put a redirecting pointed to new directory.

Please have a try using the same link:

http://www.alterawiki.com/wiki/File:Qsys_workshop_files.zip

I tried on both IE and Chrome which works for me.

Thanks,

Joseph

File can be found here:

https://fpgacloud.intel.com/devstore/platform/16.0.0/Standard/nios-ii-qsys-hello-world-lab-for-the-cyclone-v-gx-starter-kit/

Scroll down to installation package download. The Hello World .par file contains a "nios_setup_v2.qsys" file which is the fully implemented version. You can also build it yourself by clicking cancel in the open file dialog after opening Platform Designer. This will start you off with an empty design and then follow along in the Lab Manual to complete the design.
