When attempting to run the simulation tool it gives a fatal license error. It seems to be some sort of IP issue. I can utilize the simulation tool only at home but not at school or anywhere else. I am unsure how to solve this issue.

Like it says, the license file is for a specific MAC address (locked to a specific ethernet address). You would need to generate a new file for the computer with the issue.

Are you using the same license as at home?
If yes, as it says, specific ethernet address only for one license, you need to create another in sslc

Yes I believe I had already tried doing this. I generated a new license and implemented it into the program, but I am still having the same issue.

Make the path is pointing correctly.
Also, another is try to change the path of the .dat file.
Could be the path does not have permission to read causing the licensing issue.
