Hi,
Do Kaby Lake CPUs support SGX2? Or do I need to wait for Cannonlake?
Thanks,

Hi Sangho,
KabyLake supports SGX1.0. Intel will announce the timing of SGX version 2 when the information is available.

I am curious whether we can use SGX version 2 only by updating microcode or we must buy a new CPU to use SGX version 2

Hi,
SGX2 is supported on future platforms and would require end user to purchase new platforms supporting it. SGX1 to SGX2 update through micro code is not supported.

Hi Surenthar,
Do you know that is there any document which shows platform can support SGX1 or SGX2?
Because we want to know how can we sure that the SkyLake, KabyLake, Coffee Lake can support SGX1 or SGX2?
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Will
