Does SGX V2 still have EPC limitation?

Hi, everyone,

SGX v2 supports allocating EPC memory dynamically,
However, is it still 128MB EPC for SGX v2?
I did not find any Intel official documents state the EPC size of SGX v2, maybe I miss some important documents.

Could someone give some hints? Thanks.

Hello h__yun,

SGX2 does not change the size of the EPC. With SGX2, the EPC size is still limited.

Hi, JesusG, thank you so much.
It seems that Intel had said that the EPC limitation will be solved in SGX V2? I am not sure.

It seems Intel's new lce Lake processor overcomes EPC limitation, see the following links:

Hello h__yun,

I'm not sure where you read that SGX2 solves the EPC limitation. Maybe what was meant was that SGX2 helps mitigate the EPC limitation, not that it eliminates it.
