Intel SGX on i7 7700K

Hi,

I just upgraded the motherboard on my PC to ASUS MAXIMUS IX Code and the processor to i7-7700K. In order for me to be able to view Netflix on my PC in 4K, one of the requirements is to have SGX enabled in the BIOS. But the only 2 options I see under the CPU configurator are Software Controlled and Disabled.

How to I enable SGX on my PC? I have Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, a 4K monitor, nVidia GTX 1080 Ti GPU. And I am running Netflix through the app on Microsoft Store.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Please check with OEM to provide BIOS to support SGX and also visit you platform manufacturer's website and see if they have a BIOS update for this platform.
