Is it required to have OS installed on target (Tigerlake UP3 processor) to use Intel® System Studio? (As per our use case we want to do benchmarking experiments baremetal (without any OS). Which installation will suit for our need from below available configurations?

Hi Tuck Chang,

Thank you for your question.

You can use Intel System Debugger for bare-metal SUT (System Under Test) but VTune and SoC Watch won't work on bare-metal SUT. If you need to debug the system before to boot OS, then no OS installation is required otherwise, you need to install OS.

Tiger Lake was released recently, and the public ISS may not be ready to support it.

Please raise your ticket here https://supporttickets.intel.com/servicecenter?lang=en-US for further assistance.
