I'm a PhD student who's been working closely with Intel and using the DevCloud for over a year now, and my account seems to have been removed last week. I can request a new DevCloud account, but I'm wondering if there's anyway to recover the files on my previous account? My previous id is u174994. Thanks for your help.

Hi Charlesli,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Have you received any email regarding the deletion of your Intel® Developer Cloud account? When logging into the account, did you receive any errors? Kindly provide screenshots of the error.
On the other hand, Batch Mode Instance has been removed from Intel® Developer Cloud Beta. It is recommended to use JupyterLab in Intel® Developer Cloud Console.
- In the Console Home, click 'Training Catalog' under Quick Start.
- Click 'Launch JupyterLab' (top right corner).
Hope the information helps.
Regards,
Erza

I received the email. It shows that Thank you for your interest in Intel® Developer Cloud. Your access has expired.
Your account and data have been deleted and are not recoverable.
Feel free to create a new account and continue working. I think it is my fault that I didn’t notice that I need to request the extension. And now this account seems like a new one. I want to recover all files in my last account.

I am sorry to hear that. I noticed that in the community, someone else also met this problem before, I saw his account has been recovered. Is there any possibility of recovering the files? They are very important for me. Thanks for your help.

Hi Charlesli,
We apologize for the confusion. Apparently, your request to recover data from your old account to a new account is actually regarding the Intel® DevCloud product which is not similar to Intel® Developer Cloud. Therefore, we will check this issue with the relevant team and get back to you soon. Thank you.

Erza

Hi Charlesli,
We have received feedback from the team. Unfortunately, once an account is not extended and expiration date is reached, the account is terminated, and all data is deleted. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience you experienced.

Erza
