I have a Bare Metal MAX 1550 Instance. What will stop do in the action options? Will it stop using credit? Is the data going to be reserved and reused when we restart it?

Hi lostkingdom4,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Please find the response to your questions below.
1. What will 'stop' do in the action options?
You may click the 'Stop' button to pause your instance and then use 'Start' button to restart or reboot your instance when the instance is down and having SSH issues.
2. Will it stop using credit?
The billing and credits for Intel® Tiber™ AI Cloud's instance will still be charged onto your account even if the instance is stopped/paused. This is because even when the instance has been stopped/paused, the instance still belongs to you and it is unavailable for other users to utilize. Hence, the billing continues until the instance is totally terminated.
3. Is the data going to be reserved and reused when we restart it?
Yes, the existing data should not be impacted if you restart or reboot the instance. However, deleting the instance might result in losing any stored data. Therefore, it is best to back up your data before terminating the instance.
