Notification Persistence

How do I correctly block certain app notifications from showing on my PC. I turn off the notification by clicking on the notification itself and selecting "turn off notification for <app name>"

The notification however will show up again the next day. I'm not too attentive, but it's possible the notification shows up again once I re-establish the Bluetooth connection with my iOS phone. I don't believe I see the notification again for the next few hours that I'm on my PC at least when I turn it off.

Hello SyncMeUp,

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I understand that you have some inquiries about the Intel® Unison™ app.

In order to better assist you, please provide the following:

1. Did the app come Pre-Installed?

2. What is the operating system version and build?

3. What is the unison PC App version?

4. What is the iPhone model+ iOS version or Android phone and Android version, and mobile Unison app version?

5. What is the Computer Brand, model, and Intel Processor?

6. What is the intel Wi-Fi & Bluetooth adapter model used and version?

7. Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system.

  1.  Did the app come Pre-Installed?
    1. No, The Intel Unison app was neither pre-installed on my iPhone nor Windows 11 PC.
  2.  What is the operating system version and build?
    1. Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621
  3. What is the unison PC App version?
    1. Version u:20.14.4394.0/c:10.12.5237.0
  4.  What is the iPhone model+ iOS version or Android phone and Android version, and mobile Unison app version?
    1. iPhone11 Pro 16.6.1
    2. mobile Unison app version = 10.12.5 [2991]

Am I the only one to experience this issue?

Only reason I like this Unison app is because it tells me about incoming calls, texts and most importantly ability to copy security SMS quickly to satisfy any 2FA logins. However I don't need the Unison app to notify me about everything that notifies my phone.

For example, I'd like to just turn off notifications from my Ring camera app or Eufy app. I get notifications all day which is fine if it just shows up on my phone's notification history. I attached an image where I can click "Turn off all notifications for eufy Pet" from my PC yet it doesn't work. Windows 11 seems to know it's "via Intel Unison" in that screenshot too, so maybe it's the Unison app problem ignoring the settings I want?

Hello SyncMeUp,

Thanks for the confirmation. Based on this issue, these steps may help you further:

1. Disable Notifications from Intel® Unison™ PC App:

  • Click the Settings icon (at the bottom of the left panel)
  • Click Notifications
  • Switch ON/OFF Notifications from your phone will be shown on your PC
  • Switch ON/OFF incoming notifications will trigger pop-ups on your PC

2. To enable/disable Get notifications from some apps:

  • Switch ON/OFF May choose which apps you want to receive notifications from the connected smartphone from the "notification" tab

If the issue persists, please provide this:

  • Run the Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU) to gather more details about the system.
  • Download the Intel® SSU and save the application on your computer: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/18377/intel-system-support-utility-for-windows.html
  • Open the application, check the "Everything" checkbox, and click "Scan" to see the system and device information. The Intel® SSU defaults to the "Summary View" on the output screen following the scan. Click the menu where it says "Summary" to change to "Detailed View".
  • To save your scan, click Next and click Save.
