Hi, I am trying to set up the Intel Unison app on my PC and my iPhone. But it is a bit sketchy, because it seems that I can not connect my phone and my PC trough the app, but I can send files. The files are sent to my PC, I even see a loading bar inside the Unison app, but cant interact in any way or see the history, calls, messages or anything else. But the file is transfered in the right directory and is alright, but the app itself, doesnt work ?
The error pops up if it says something like: Trying to pair your phone and PC, please confirm the bluetooth connection (I am from germany, I translated it).
If I try to connect them again, it either just loads a bit and returns to the start connection screen or doesnt even load and does nothing. All while the phone is connected already through Bluetooth with the PC.
I also unpaired the phone and tried again. I reinstalled the app on my phone and the PC, updated the bluetooth drivers, tried many different things. I Tried to pair it with my iPad, but the app says its no phone so not possible, so I can't tell if its the phones fault.

Hello blatantq,
I just need to ask if you are still able to use the Unison App on your phone but not able to use the desktop (PC) app? Or is it vice versa?
I will wait for your reply.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hello blatantq1,
May I ask what your wireless/Bluetooth adapter make and model is? You may also share your system configuration so I we can fully check and provide you with an accurate fix. This could be possible by downloading the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software. When the download is complete, launch SSU.exe.
- Scan: Check the box Everything.
- Click Scan.
- Review: When finished scanning, click Next.
- Click Save (.txt). Attach the log file as you reply.
Please also make sure that your IOS version is iOS* 15.x and above.
Reference: What Are the System Requirements for the Intel® Unison™ App?
I hope to hear from you soon so I can proceed with further checking on this issue.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

ello blatantq1,
The issue is still currently being checked. Please confirm the details below:
1. Can you pair another Bluetooth device with your desktop PC (e.g. BT keyboard and mouse, BT speakers, etc.)?
2. Is your iPhone also able to connect to other Bluetooth device (e.g. Bluetooth speakers/headphones, etc.)?
3. Are both devices (desktop PC and iPhone) connected to the same home/wireless network?
I hope to hear from you so I can proceed with further checking.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.

Hi,
I exactly have the same issue, impossible to have access to the messages, photos, notifications...
What is strange is that I can share documents from my device to the laptop.
This is not working between the ipad and the laptop neither.
Thanks!

Hello blatantq1,
Good day.
From the picture provided, the iPhone in File Transfer is grey and disable. It might be due to iPhone and PC app are not the same latest version 20.27.x, USB BT issue and iPhone permission. iPhone General Settings > Bluetooth name must same as connected in PC'OS/DM Bluetooth and Intel Unison PC App settings.
Photo, video, media, gallery, messages, contact list and notification access must be "Always allow all" instead of "preferred setting or asking to allow access" from iPhone General settings. Both PC and iPhone status in Intel Unison PC App must "connected" then have same PIN number to pair successfully. I suggest checking iPhone General settings to allow all permission. Sharing the User Guide for pairing (page 20) and iPhone message limitation (pages 46-47).
Additionally, on about iPad issue. When pairing with iPad, you need to select Tablet icon and not Phone
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.
