Error 404 for ccservice.asmx Page

Hello I am running out of time on my Intel Unite trial demo box so I would appreciate any support.

I can access my admin page without issue but the hub install can't grab a pin and I can't access the ccservice.asmx test page either.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello BOliv8, Thank you for joining this Intel Community. We would like to gather more information to better assist you. Please use the following command to create a log file for the hub. "intel unite launcher.exe" /debug >log_output.txt Alternatively, you can also: Create a folder on c:\ drive so the log can be kept in storage. C:\UniteLogs\ Add the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\Intel\Unite\ LogFile (String) Specify the file path as well as the name for your log files on the string value: C:\UniteLogs\logs.txt Wanner G. Replaced servername fyi.

As far as I can tell I setup the certificate correctly following the enterprise setup videos. I did not create a dns entry but specified the servername in the hub install. Any ideas?

Hello BOliv8, Based on the debug information attached, it seems that the hub cannot communicate with the server. There are a few reasons that may explain why you are receiving this error: 1. Certificate issue You may be using SHA1 certificates, which do not work well on Intel Unite® or the certificate is not valid. 2. The DNS Service Record has not been created or it was not created properly. 3. Ccservice.asmx file can also be configured manually to fix this issue. Wanner G. Good Morning Wanner,

Could you provide any instruction on how to edit the ccservice.asmx file so I can test that?

As stated above:

I can access my admin page without issue but the hub install can't grab a pin and I can't access the ccservice.asmx test page either.

That was the issue I was trying to resolve originally.

Hello BOliv8, To continue troubleshooting this issue, please follow these steps: 1. Open the notepad as administrator (Open your Windows start menu, search for the notepad application and then right click the notepad icon. Choose “Run as administrator”) 2. Go to File > Open > and go to this location C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Intel Unite\Hub 3. You should see the following information: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <EnterpriseServerSettings> <RunMode>Enterprise</RunMode> <DefaultStandAloneValues> <KeyValuePair> <Key>AllowFileTransfer</Key> <Value>True</Value> </KeyValuePair> <KeyValuePair> <Key>FullScreenRoomMode</Key> <Value>true</Value> </KeyValuePair> <KeyValuePair> <Key>VerifyPluginCertificateHash</Key> <Value>true</Value> </KeyValuePair> <KeyValuePair> <Key>HubLockKeyboard</Key> <Value>false</Value> </KeyValuePair> <KeyValuePair> <Key>FullScreenRoomModeShowPin</Key> <Value>True</Value> </KeyValuePair> </DefaultStandAloneValues> <Hosts> <EnterpriseServerHost> <ServerHost></ServerHost> <CertificatePublicKey> </CertificatePublicKey> </EnterpriseServerHost> </Hosts> </EnterpriseServerSettings> 4. Press "Ctrl + F" and look for <ServerHost></ServerHost> 5. Following the example below, please insert either the IP address of the Intel Unite® server or the FQDN where Intel Unite® is installed. <ServerHost>http://IP address or FQDN/Unite/CCService.asmx</ServerHost> Note: If your certificate is valid, you can also use Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS). Please let us know if the issue persists. Wanner G. Intel Customer Support Technician Under Contract to Intel Corporation
