How to support distributed admin on a single server

We would like to have different IT groups support and configure hubs and devices in their areas but not have access to hubs and devices not in their areas. Is this possible?

Hello TBain1, Thank you for posting on this Community. We will do research about this inquiry. Are you using Intel Unite® 3.X or 4.X? Wanner G. Intel Customer Support Technician Under Contract to Intel Corporation

We were running 3.x but just upgraded (or rather replaced with) 4.x installation. We now have interest from two other IT groups in running Intel Unite in their areas but since we have the DNS SRV/TXT record pointing to our server, their hubs are showing up on our server. If it is possible to somehow direct hubs to different departmental servers each with its own departmental administrators that would be preferable but I don't see any mention of having multiple servers (except for load-balancing) so it looks like a shared server might be the only way to go. That's the context for my question.

Thanks Wanner

Hello TBain1, In this case, there is no need to have more than one server. We recommend going to the admin web portal and creating groups based on the IT groups you need to have. Wanner G. Intel Customer Support Technician Under Contract to Intel Corporation
