Attempted to install the Unite client on a win10 laptop. The install failed midway through because - "Windows blocked the installation of a digitally unsigned driver." My laptop rebooted and then proceeded to bluescreen and boot loop. I had my tech support uninstall the client for me. At this point I'm trying determine what is needed (if anything) before I reattempt the install. I could not find any reference to the failure in the client install log. I did come across the https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/software/000021285.html support article referencing the "platform check fails with error ID 333333" which suggests simply browsing to the Microsoft site will correct this problem by forcing a root certificate update.
Anyone else experienced a similar issue? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
coop: Thank you very much for joining the Intel® Unite™ app communities. We will do our best in order to try to fix this problem.
Based on the information you gave us, it seems to be the problem is related to the operating system. I also looked on the Intel® Unite deployment guide and basically it suggests the same step you saw on that article, page 62:
So, if the problem persists after trying that suggestion, then the best thing to do will be to get in contact with Microsoft directly to get further details about this problem:
Any further questions, please let me know.
