SQL Server / Database requirements

Hello. I am in the planning stages of an Intel Unite test and I need to have a SQL Server VM created. The server team is asking me the server specs for the SQL server and/or the database size thst needs to be allocated. Does anyone know of some specs I can reference for this or a general sense of database size?
