The Skype for business basic is a supported plugin?

Im Using Intel Unite Enterprise setup.

The schedule is not displaying on Unite HUB.

Skype for Business* plug-in is supported by Intel Unite®. 

 

URL inspection services may be causing this issue. Please review this information and let us know if the issue persists. 

 

Microsoft offers a service called “Advanced Threat Protection” for Office365. The specific service that is part of that suite that seems to be affecting the meeting URLs is called “Safe Links”. “Safe Links” intercepts the meeting URL and rewrites it to something like the following:

 

https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmeet.intel.com%2Fgrant.l.kelly%2FN...

 

And, the original meeting URL was:

https://meet.intel.com/Fgrant.l.kelly/FNN41C66T3D

 

Effective Meetings is able to parse the re-written URL however, the Skype for Business plugin is not able to parse or pass this URL to the application. The resolution that appears to work is to create an exemption list and include keyworks such as: https://meet.*

 

Enabling the service and then creating an exemption list on the Office365 account with the aforementioned keywords resolves the issue. The test to verify that the meeting URL is being re-written is as follows:

 

  1. Send the account that has been configured on the hub a meeting invite
  2. Wait for the Effective Meetings plugin to successfully accept the meeting invite
  3. Navigate to the hub account’s calendar and locate the meeting
  4. Right click the meeting and click “Open”
  5. Hover over the “Join” link and note the URL that is displayed
  • If the URL differs from the original meeting invite URL, the URL has been inspected and replaced by the service
