Hello, All

We have pilot the intel unite some months, I found that the client APP sometimes unexpected stop work without no operation for a long tiome.

The scene is :

When I presentation the client APP is looks like still connect, but the HUB screen was stuck on a picture. When I click the [stop presenting] button on client, the Client APP was died and jump out a problem. then the HUB recover to default screen. When I connect again, the HUB still working well. So I think it may be someting problem with client?

this error happened in the 3.0.43.48 &3.1.41.18 version APP. Why?

thanks.

Hi sdh1984: Thank you for joining the Intel® Intel® Unite™ app communities.

This problem also could be related to the bandwidth on the connection that is being used.

There is a work around that we can try, run the application with the debug switch and save information to the log file, for example: Intel Unite.exe /debug >log.txt. If the log file contains the message "EXCEPTION: - Key not valid for use in specified state.", close the application and delete the C:\Users\eaviles\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\[sid]\d046df file.

Please let us know the results of trying the steps above.

Any further questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Alberto R

sdh1984: Thank you very much for sharing those details and for providing that report.

We will do further research in order to try to find a possible solution for this problem. Just to confirm, at the moment when you installed the Intel® Unite version 3.1.41.18, did you installed it on top of the previous version or you did a fresh installation of the tool?

Any questions, please let me know.

Hello Alberto,

It's a direct installation for 3.1 version, I have not uninstall the before version. But, the problem happened in the both 3.0 & 3.1 version.

Thanks.

I have reinstall the 3.1 version APP, but there is a problem still. It's happened about 4 times a day.

I found the log in client and hub, no abnormal, It may be the client APP was died.

This problem was very important for us, it's impact to the pilot user experience. Please help me to resolved it ASAP.

Many Thanks.

The Desktop Window Manager is experiencing heavy resource contention.

Scenario : Video memory resources are over-utilized. Reducing number of running programs and open windows may help resolve this condition

sdh1984: I just wanted to let you know that I just got some updates on the investigation we are doing on this matter, we wanted to confirm if all the pieces of Intel® Unite you are using are upgraded to 3.1? It is highly probable to experience issues if you have a mix of 3.0 and 3.1 pieces (hub, client, server).

Any questions, please let me know.

sdh1984: I just wanted to let you know that I just got an update on the research we are doing on this regard. Previously we wanted to confirm if all the Intel® Unite pieces were updated to version 3.1 (hub, client, server) because there might be a performance problem if some of the pieces are 3.1 and the other ones are 3.0. You said, on your last post that the version for each piece was 3.0.48, so it seems to be the upgrade from 3.0.43.48 to 3.1.41.18 did not work correctly. Please un-install the current version of the Intel® Unite from the (hub, client, server) and then install version 3.1 on each of them:
