client fails to connect Hub every 1st time

I have a issue when setting up the intel unite as enterprise deployment.

After configuration, everything works fine. but only one issue is, client can't connect to Hub when 1st time enter PIN code and it works if enter 2nd time, 3rd time.... If we completely close Intel unite app in client PC, reopen unite app to connect Hub by enter pin code, same problem.

That means, client fails to connect Hub when 1st time enter PIN code and long time not enter PIN code.

We tried config the PIN code display time to 10 minutes.

We tried different PC and reinstall the unite server. no change.

Attachments are the Wireshark package capture file and client app debug log.

Description:

172.31.11.112 PIN Server IP address

172.31.11.115 Hub IP address

172.31.11.25 Client IP address

172.31.11.2 AD server IP address

PIN Server name: IUEnterprise1

Domen name: bmwbrilltest.cn

We used the Domain Certificate.

Can you pls. give some advise how to solve?

Thanks.

Hello sdh1984,

Thank you for contacting the Intel community.

Just checking – Is the hub connected over the Ethernet network?

Make sure you also have the latest version:

I'm sure that the hub was connected over the Ethernet network. I have checked with network team, the network was working well.

I have the last version software alreday.

it's there any other reason ? Could we have a online troubleshooting?

I'm having a similar issue, but my clients won't connect at all.

I am running with the service record in DNS.

I set it up, and if I nslookup the service record, I can retrieve it with and without the domain name appended, however when I look in the wireshark, the SRV request is going over without the domain name appended, and my reply is that it cannot be found in the root servers.

I found that when I edited the client's ServerConfig.xml, and entered the ServerHost value, that I could immediately connect, and display on the unite hub.

Hi Rheiniluoma

thanks for your replay.

I have tried to create the Service Record in DNS, and if I nslookup the service record, I can retrieve it. however when I look in wireshark, the SRV can not be found.

I have edited the value of the hub's and client's ServerConfig.xml, The PIN was display in hub screen and the client was connect to the PIN server.

I do not know is this there any relationship.
